- If upon opening the file, a warning about "macros"
appears, then choose "disable macros" option (I don't know why I'm getting
this).
- Enter any expense receipt values on the appropriate event day. Make
plenty of notes, if need be. You can fax, snail mail, or scan to me any
receipts for the week.
- Once completed, go to "FILE>SAVE AS and choose
a location in your "My documents" on your PC. Adjust the name of the file to
replace "3LetterInitials" with your initials. When you go to change the name,
left-click to the front of the name, then press "delete" key until Keep the "
_StaffingInvFPSwk30_072008-072608.xls" part of the filename because it helps
us track the invoices better. Example of a good filename is
"JKB_StaffingInvFPSwkXX_072008-072608.xls"
- Once saved, find, then attach the file to an email and send to Pay@FlexibleRX.com
- Excel users need only send me the Excel ".xls" file and
nothing else. Quattro users will need to convert to .xls for me before
sending.
- When a month ends, the last days of one month may
safely intermingle with the first days of the next month.
For non-Excel users, keep sending in your time, albeit
preferably at least once a week via the following routes:
- Email (just type it out in words in an email at the end
of each day)
- Print calendar, mark up adjustments for actual time
worked, then fax, scan / email or snail mail to me.

- If upon opening the file, a warning about "macros"
appears, then choose "disable macros" option (I don't know why I'm getting
this).
- Fill out the "LOG" portion first. Most consulting events have three parts
1) drive there 2)consult 3) drive home. Use actual odometer values for
mileage, if possible. Otherwise you will have to create values to provide the
number of miles you think you traveled (which is fine by me, but less
convincing as a mileage log to IRS).
- If you do work at home, which involves no travel, then plug in your
consulting start time twice on the first line, to show zero travel time. Same
for "trip" home. Work past midnight will have to be shown like two separate
days.
- The time and miles you enter in the LOG, carries over properly to the
INVOICE section below.

fax, snail mail, or scan to me any receipts for the week.

following month to "wrap up" previous month's services.

- Fax or snail mail (if your own form)
